Parks
San Marcos or San Parkos is known for its beautiful parks, vast hiking trails, and clean green spaces. These spaces offer an opportunity for individuals and families to enjoy the outdoors. Since joining the San Marcos City Council in 2020, I have supported initiatives that have helped maintain our local parks and trails, while expanding the clean, green spaces our city offers to residents. I want to continue working hard to ensure every resident and visitor can enjoy everything San Parkos has to offer. I will prioritize maintaining and creating clean, safe parks, trails, and green spaces for all residents to enjoy.
Public Safety
As a retired member of law enforcement, I know the value of a safe community. Since becoming your City Councilmember in 2020, I have supported funding our local law enforcement so we have well trained and equipped law enforcement officers serving our city. Supporting our law enforcement means our community can continue to thrive. I will continue to work to ensure all residents, businesses, and visitors feel safe and protected by continuing to support our local first responders.
Public Roads
Safe, well maintained streets are vital to the economic health of our community. Prior to joining the San Marcos City Council, I was a member of our San Marcos Traffic & Planning Commissions where we dealt with traffic, infrastructure and planned growth. Once elected to the Council, I focused on finding ways to mitigate traffic issues as we continue to provide residential and business opportunities for our community. I will continue to prioritize the maintenance of our road to mitigate traffic issues so our residents, visitors and businesses may safely and quickly travel throughout our city.
